The first children's writer and illustrator conference that I attended was a good experience.  Dan Yaccarino and Sally Mavor were my favorite presenters.  They were informative and approachable and - of course - they are both extremely awesome artists. Maybe I can pay them to be my friends?

Party with some cool people. Talk about books. Yeehaw.

No matter how hard you try, some things just don't work out.

Everyone should be allowed at least one dream in which they can fly and float. Preferably in some kind of red head-wear.
